I AM: A Tony Stark / Iron Man Zine is a tribute to Iron Man and Robert Downey Jr.’s portrayal of Tony Stark as the torchbearer of the MCU. As we lead up to the 15 year anniversary since the first film, we want to celebrate MCU Tony Stark, his brilliance, and relationships with others throughout the MCU.Our vision is to showcase Tony Stark through the ages, starting off with young Tony, until he grows to be Iron Man and an Avenger, and up until the end.This zine will be a charity zine! WHAT IS A ZINE?
A zine (or a fanzine in this case) is a self-published collection of works by fans, usually focused on a single fandom and theme.WHAT IS THIS PROJECT ABOUT?
This is a single-run, limited project that will include a SFW physical zine and accompanying merch. The project is dedicated to our favourite hero, Tony Stark, and his journey through the MCU.Contributors will be free to explore his struggles, his relationships, his hobbies, and his passions. Our vision is to showcase Tony Stark through the ages, starting off with young Tony, until he grows to be Iron Man and an Avenger, and up until the end.All content will be set in the MCU canon timeline, and should be focused on Tony. AUs aren’t allowed but canon-divergent content, such as ships, is allowed.ARE SHIPS ALLOWED?

Multiple mods will be able to access the finance accounts and information, and all money transfers will have their receipts logged. We will also be providing contributors with a Finance Summary page with all the receipts linked to! During productions, we will make frequent updates with contributors and buyers to show proof!WHAT TIME ZONE IS THIS ZINE IN?
We will be operating on PDT/PST time (GMT-7/8)! We will note the timezones for all the important times in our socmed posts.WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU GET A C & D?

GENERAL GUIDELINES⇾ The theme of the zine is “Tony Stark through the ages.” This could be interpreted in many ways, but could explore periods such as: Tony Stark in his young years, years as he becomes Iron Man, Tony as an Avenger, up to the end.
⇾ Applicants must be at least 16 years old by the time applications end.
⇾ All works must be new works created for this zine. Plagiarism will not be tolerated.
⇾ All works should be SFW, including sample links. NSFW pieces in your portfolio link are okay but MUST BE noted in the application!
⇾ Please make sure we can view your sample or portfolio links, or your application may be disregarded.
⇾ The zine will be mostly communicating through Discord, but other means of communication will be accepted!
⇾ All creators have full rights to their pieces and may post and reproduce them as they see fit once mods give the go-ahead. This will be sometime after the pre-orders have been sent out and customers begin receiving their orders.
CONTIBUTOR EXPECTIONSWriters will be expected to write a piece up to 7 pages in accordance with the guide provided. This is about a maximum of 1600 words.
⇾ Dialogue should be restricted to what is necessary and should be kept tight.
⇾ Pieces may be story-based or news article fics.Artists will be expected to create a fully rendered illustration. Please remember to work in CMYK for printing. You may also provide us with an RGB copy, and we will do the conversion.
⇾ Cover artists will be expected to create a fully-rendered illustration spread, including a background
